Jordan Brand is making a habit lately of experimenting with different material combinations. Last year, the Blue Suede Air Jordan 12 was a pleasant surprise. We also saw a premium version of the 11 take on the same build.
Now, the Air Jordan 5 is the latest to get its upper smoothened out. The buttery coat of suede really pops in this sneaker’s shade of Red. A translucent outsole and hints of Black give off real “Raging Bull” vibes, but don’t get your hopes up. But…don’t feel let down either. At least, not yet. This may not be that legendary iteration of the AJ 5, but a premium upper and smooth contrasting details make this a solid iteration.
Priced at $190, you can expect these to drop July 1st, 2017. Is this an easy cop? Or not worth the time? Drop us a comment and let us know.
